The younger generation nowadays left handwriting behind after finished school. Most of them prefer typing on the computer, tablet and smartphone. Gosh! they don't even know, I need to write to remain focus.  A Notebook and a good reliable gel pen is a must for me until now. One of my biggest concerns, when it comes to gel pens is its inability to glide smoothly and the constant ink smudges. Sometimes it is even slippery during long hours of writing. This really pisses me off! If you are talk

At that time, I was advised by the Doctor to drink more milk or at least start to add calcium and vitamin D to my daily diet. Well, I was busy working to care for that! Ujuwon Ba Zhen Clean Detox and Ba Zhen Bust Up Nourishment Drink Review

Although I am not Chinese, the word Ba Zhen is nothing new for me. Ba Zhen herbal soup is a popular remedy among Chinese women and men to maintain good health and well being. It is a way to "replenish qi and blood".  Well, I would say it helps women more since the formula is good in restoring balance and vitality during and after the menstrual cycle.  Those days Ba Zhen soup was boil based on special prescribed Chinese herbs by a trained professional to ensure safety and effective use. You can get any Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner for the right prescription based on your specific needs. Ladies! for those who don't know this, we have to boil the Ba Zhen for hours with control heat to get good nutritional benefits out of it. Face the fact although many of us are working from home now, doesn't mean we have plenty of time to boil a good herbal soup to maintain our health. We are too busy juggling work and home. Most of the time we are overworked, stress, exh

Why Is It Important to Choose Car Insurance Coverage?

Owning a car comes with its responsibility. And yes, it's a big responsibility; from the payments to the upkeep, it's a lot to take on. You need to contemplate before committing yourself to buy a car is the insurance that comes with it. You might think of auto insurance as a money-wasting hassle. Just another means to sign a check and never reap any benefits, which is untrue.   Car insurance has saved a lot of people from incurring substantial financial losses when accidents occur. Car insurance protects you from bearing the financial liability that results from an accident or other unfortunate incident. Here is why it's essential to have car insurance coverage.   It's Mandatory by the Law Third-party auto insurance is the least type of auto insurance. It provides the minimum amount of protection and is legally required in Malaysia according to the Motor Vehicle Act. This type of insurance policy covers damage or loss to the other party if you are at fault. However,

What Do I Do To Myself?

Disclaimer: This post doesn't intend to berate or even complain about certain parties. This post is merely a writer way to express her feelings towards herself. ....Yeah! That's me. I need a channel to express myself. huhuhuh I was invited for an interview at the beginning of the MCO 3.0. I was sceptical to go all the way to KL to attend a 6pm interview. If I were talking from my personal opinion as an interviewee or even an HR. My reaction will be...My God! who arrange an interview at 6pm during fasting month for a Muslim candidate? Is this a sign of an inconsiderate employer?  Talking from the point of an employer who is in the upper hand at this worsens the economic situation, I would rather use my Boss busy schedule than a candidate preference. See? There is always a reason for something right? Trying my best to rationalize. hahaha As a candidate who accepted such an invitation, she or he should have realized the company working styles from the way the employer handle the i

Thank You For your Annoying Preaches

I am no Nostradamus or whatsoever. I just find myself living life with future worries. Even during my working days, the way I acted in project planning and execution was more on details to ensure everything is taken care of. I always in the mind of, 'what if', 'maybe this will happen. So always have a backup plan to ensure I have the fallback and the solution to the problem from moving on. In short, it's more on risk management kind of things.  I won't say, I am on the 'hiatus' mode from the working world because deep inside, I was dying to make a comeback to the working world. I went for 3 interviews after I was laid off. The interviewer put me off. I would say most of the interviewer nowadays kind of looking for the book smart who are good in papers and book jargon. The question on the certain case studies during the interview was more on the theoretical solution than practical. As a person who started working life from the bottom and only obtain a paper

Tips To Choose A Curtain Rod For House

If you read my previous post, you might aware that I am preparing myself to move into a new place. Like I wrote in an earlier post, it's not as simple as what people may things. All details need to be taken care of. I don't have the cash to pay for an Interior Designer to do that for me. So, I am trying to do this on my own. I visited the curtain shop before and they quoted me a freaking RM6,000 for the whole house. The cheapest is RM3,000. That's insane! They said that's the cheapest. WTH! I have settled the kitchen window with zebra blinds, which I bought at an online store and it cost me only RM45. I will find my courage to learn to use the wall drill equipment soon. (psst! no confidence in this since I have bad motor skills. It may end up a disaster. isk isk isk) For starting, I will hire an installer for the whole house fittings. Most of the places, I move in was fully equipped with a curtain or the most basic the curtain rod was already installed. This new place t

Preparing Myself To Say Goodbye

While writing this, I am in a serious crisis. The crisis that I am facing is about my own relocation. I have handled a few office relocations successfully. Why does handling my own relocation kind of difficult? Guess its because I have to make a proposal to myself and then make my own decision. Making a decision is kind of hard! Why? I am afraid of making the wrong one! I have been living here for many years now. Moreover, it has been more than 15 years here. For that long, it has been in a familiar environment and atmosphere. Most of the personal belonging has a sentimental value and sense of attachment to it. I am one person who unable to 'let go' things easily. (**sad**). I started my life here with just a basket of books and luggage of clothing. Then slowly, I bought a thin mattress. Then from thin mattress to the ticker one and then upgraded to a King size bed with a good mattress. I don't even have a table to study and eat. So I use a corrugated box as a table. Chai

Accidental Retiree

I have not been writing for quite a while now. When it comes to writing without inspiration...It won't work for me! Its been a year now without a job. I have been surviving with my savings solely until now. I was considered lucky since I have enough funds for this kind of situation. I started working at the very young age of 19 years old. Work hard and save diligently since young really helps me. Since young time, I was working from one job to another job. I consider myself a job hopper at a young age. To me, more salary is an important factor for my surviving in this big city alone without any support from anyone. Hailed from a small town. I started my life here by renting and sharing a room with others. Remember sleeping on a thin mattress which my roommate gave me since I only move in with my one small bag. No other belongings since I don't really have anything with me. Minibus and walking was my daily transportation in those days. There was time, where I survive with only o
