PRICIER BEAUTY SERVICES AND COSMETICS

I recently read most beauty services is going to be subjected to GST.
This mean....LADIES!!! our beauty services is going to get pricier. WTH!

The price of manicure, pedicure, hair and facial treatments going to cost more leak to your wallet. Well, this include cosmetic, hair and body care and massage too. WTH!

Our 'beloved govt' were saying there will be a slight increase in prices for beauty services but not BIG ISSUE! If the business operators registered to implement the GST will be lower their costs by claiming the input tax credit. Example of input credit were rental fees for the premises, utilities cost and equipment purchase for services.

I bet most business operators will take advantage to increase prices giving GST as their solid reason. So the input and output tax , do you think many will bother to make it fair to the consumer??? Huh! I really feel a bit sceptically opportunist business owner will do that!!!

Without solid enforcement from the authorities...we consumer will end being punish for earning just this little money to live happily.

But if you want to buy beauty products which is not subjected to tax than you should buy it at airports since there are DUTY FREE store located.I am not sure how cheap it could be after the flight ticket you paid and vacation cost incur.

Life is getting tough for middle income earner like me. I am neither here nor there.

My 5 MUST DO LIST for the month of MARCH 2015 :

1. Massage

2. Facial

3. Manicure and Pedicure

4. Hair Treatment

5. Buy beauty products as much possible

My month of March mission start this weekend! I want to enjoy the luxury before all become beyond my affordability.

Have a good weekend ahead ladies and please stock up your cosmetics for at least a year or two !!!

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...

Honest Review: Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV

When I first picked up the Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV , the sleek blue bottle already gave me that “hydrating luxury” vibe. Unlike the usual heavy sunscreens or sticky sunblocks, this one feels more like a skincare serum than a typical sunscreen. That’s the first big difference ! It’s marketed as a serum UV , not just a sunblock. Texture & Application The texture is lightweight, almost watery-gel like, and it spreads effortlessly across the skin. No greasy residue, no sticky film, and most importantly.....  no white cast . This is a huge win for those of us who hate looking like a ghost after applying sunscreen. It absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling supple and hydrated, almost like you’ve just applied a hydrating essence. This is where it stands out! It doesn’t just sit on top of your skin to block UV rays, it actually locks in hydration thanks to the 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA, Absorbent HA, Nano HA). Think of it as a sunscreen that doubles ...
