What Is My New Normal Life In Year 2020 and 2021?

Time passes really fast. It has been two years since all of us has lost our freedom to live our lives like in the year 2019 and before that. We miss the time where we can 'Balik kampung' during the festive time. We long to make use of annual leave for a holiday.

Many of us have received a double dose of vaccine. I can tell you this is not a ticket to freedom and life like we did in the year 2019 and before. Things have changed! Our freedom has been robbed! The virus has evolved and got stronger day by day. Even our vaccines couldn't catch up to the fast upgrading. Unfortunately, the chance of being infected after vaccines is still high.

Although the Government has announced the ease of MCO, we have our own responsibility to take care of ourselves. My new normal life in the years 2020 and 2021, or should I drag it further to the years 2022, 2023 and the year after that and after that too? Forever? We have to learn to live among this deadly virus from now on.

Here how I personally adapting to the new norms :

Face Mask Is Essential Item

I have few types of masks in stock. Never step out of my house without wearing any face mask. I cover up even during taking out my thrash which is on the same floor and only 30 steps away. I added a face shield over my KF94 mask whenever go down to pick up my online delivery order at the lobby. You can call me paranoid but hey....most of the deliverymen in my area kind of put their masks down all the time. I encountered a number of them, not one not two but most of them behave the same.

Social Distancing

No doubt! Social distancing may be a key component when it comes to containing the virus. Now that the government has announced the eased of MCO. Gosh! I think it is really a challenge for me or all of us to avoid the crowd. I am considered lucky to live on the first floor. I opt to walk down and up the staircase most of the time unless carrying heavy things which require a trolley. I rather wait for the next lift than sharing it with others. I become a thick face to tell off other people to board the same life with me. I prefer to step out to give way to stubborn people! Gosh! we met this kind of people all the time who live their lives to danger others. Why bother to fight with them?

Avoid Gatherings

I really don't understand when people are a relatively crying joy at the cinema opening announcement. I would do the same if I am working with the cinema itself. Big No as the patron. The virus is no longer about close contact infectious. They are now airborne. Imagine watching a movie in a dim close-up area for more than one hour. I bet there will be no popcorn or drink selling. We have to put our masks up throughout the entire hour. Urghh! I will feel seriously ill with suffocation doing that.

Online Shopping

I bet most business owners have since changed their way of business and adopting from offline to online. I shop all my groceries from fresh to dry goods through online shopping. Avoid the crowd through online shopping is safer. Who said don't need to shop for wardrobe and beauty items during MCO?  I still need to apply sunscreen and other skincare despite being indoors most of the time. I bought most of the skincare products through online shopping websites. One or two or maybe more clothes to please me. I need to be happy and take care of my mental health too. (facepalm)

My Handbag

Ever since this whole pandemic era started 2 years ago, it changes my life. What is the must item in the handbag during this new norm life? Not sure about other women handbag, but mine comes with an antibacterial wet wipe instead of just a regular soft tissue. Face mist has changed with hand sanitiser. A backup face mask is always on standby in the bag. I carry a sanitiser gun with me in my handbag if out in the public. (facepalm for my paranoid syndrome). I focus on the eye make-up instead of full-face makeup under the mask. So, instead of lipstick or lip tint, mascara and concealer to cover my eye bag are essential for me. I brought my own fork and spoon too, just in case!

Travelling Plan

I put all my travelling plans at a halt for 2 to 3 years or maybe longer. I dare not dream anything at this moment. I hope the world health improve and everything at ease in 2 to 3 years time. Those 'Travel addicted' can go on with their plan. As for myself, I decided to live with the flow with wait and see. Don't want to take the risk by following the desire.

Give yourself a pat on your back if you survive this new normal lifestyle. Whatever situation we are in right now, be nice to yourself and others. Stay safe everyone and live life happily.

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply this at
