Hada Labo CSR

L-R: Lim Mei Yuen, General Manager of Rohto-Mentholatum Malaysia, Nurul Syaiedatul Aqmal, Community Development Officer of Women Of Will (WOW), Azatul Aswa, Admin & Program Officer of Women Of Will (WOW) and Watsons representative

Almost every year ever since the pandemic started, Hada Labo has been making an effort to improve the lives of B40 women through its annual " We Care For Society" CSR campaign. This campaign aims to educate and equip these women with valuable skills and knowledge thereby helping them to achieve financial independence. The outreach to low-income B40 women was carried out in partnership with Women Of Will (WOW) and Watsons.

Through this campaign, Hada Labo pledged to donate RM1 from Hada Labo Premium Whitening products sold at Watsons outlets nationwide to its "We Care for Society" campaign fund during the month of March. Through this partnership with Watson, Hada Labo has successfully raised RM50,000 to support this campaign.

The funds raised through this campaign were used to support 37 low-income B40 women bakers and tailors in baking 22,000 pieces of healthy cookies and sewing 500 pouches for 500 elderly folks from 12 different aged homes around Klang Valley in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.

Old Folk Home Visit

Among the homes that Hada Labo reached out to for the cookie and pouch distribution were :

  • Pusat Jagaan Al-Fikrah Malaysia,
  • My Aged Care,
  • Laman Khaira,
  • Darul Insyirah,
  • Zara Aisyah Care Centre,
  • Pusat Jagaan Husna Arrashid,
  • Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Kaseh Bonda, and
  • Pertubuhan Cahaya Hati Selangor.

Lim Mei Yuen, General Manager of Rohto-Mentholatum Malaysia, expressed her commitment to the cause and the brand's support to low-income B40 Women since the Covid Pandemic. She reiterated that the brand would continue to offer relief to disadvantaged women in the future as well.

We've been running this campaign with WOW & Watsons for the last four years to help improve the lives of B40 who were badly hit during the pandemic and although we are now in the endemic phase, their economic situation has not improved with the high inflation rate. We hope that our programme will offer some financial relief, especially with  Hari Raya just around the corner

Hada Labo employees also partake in visits to aged homes for Raya cookie distribution and communal work at a selected home to send their love and care to the aged community.

Hada Labo Employee CSR

WOW's Chief Operating Officer Lakshwin Muruga added that low-income communities are still suffering financially even after the pandemic. Wages earned are not enough to cover their expenses and small-time business owners are finding it hard to make a profit with the high inflation rate.

We really appreciate the financial contribution by Hada Labo and we are sure that it will make a difference in the lives of these women, especially during the Hari Raya season when expenses are usually higher during the festive period

Overall, Hada Labo's efforts to improve the lives of B40 women are commendable, and its commitment to making a difference through such campaigns is indeed praiseworthy. The brand's focus on empowering low-income communities with valuable skills and knowledge that can help them achieve financial independence is truly inspiring.

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply this at

Acupuncture Treatment at Tung Shin Hospital

Different between Rebonding and Keratin Treatment

Frizzy Hair Solution Naturally, I born wavy and wild frizzy hair. I hate that frizzy hair style. It make me look untidy and less attractive. WTH! Don't throw up please!!!! The only solution to my knowledge all this while is rebonding hair treatment. I have been doing this almost every year. I am worried about getting my hair ironed every year. Gosh! I am not getting anymore younger so does my hair. How long this poor hair of mine can stand that heavy chemical treatment coated on and flat iron it with the heat straightening iron. Even my neck almost drop putting up with the long hours procedures. I was invited to try out Keratin Treatment at A Cut Above. I am glad to finally try this out. I love the end result very much and the process is simple than rebonding. Like I said earlier my desire result is to tame my untidy frizzy hair. Not really about straightening the hair. So which one to choose? Rebonding or Keratin? Hair Rebonding * Suitable for those who have ve
