Sunplay Skin Aqua Physical Sunscreen Tone Up : Breaking Records While Protecting Our Skin!

Good Sunscreen

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you already know how serious I am about sun protection. (Yes, even when it’s cloudy outside! 😜) Well, guess what? One of my long-time favourite sunscreen brands, Sunplay, has just made Malaysian history ...... and yours truly had to share the tea!

Sunplay Enters the Malaysia Book of Records

Recently, Sunplay, under Rohto-Mentholatum, officially earned a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records for organizing the Most Participants in a Sunscreen Application Event. How cool is that?

The event took place at Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre with the support of Watsons Malaysia, Sunplay’s trusty retail partner. Picture this... 250 participants applying sunscreen together at the same time. Not only did it set a new benchmark in the skincare industry, it also sent a clear message.... daily sunscreen use matters.

Why This Event Matters

This wasn’t just about numbers, okay? It was about turning awareness into action. So many people still think sunscreen is only for beach holidays. Nope! Sun protection is an everyday affair . Rain or shine.

Sunplay’s record-breaking event also showcased the Skin Aqua Physical Sunscreen Tone Up , a gentle, mineral-based sunscreen perfect for sensitive, acne-prone, or even pregnant skin. Imagine getting protected from UVA/UVB rays while rocking a subtle rosy glow. Yup! one product does it all.

What the Boss Lady Says

Lim Mei Yuen, General Manager of Mentholatum Sdn Bhd, shared how thrilled she was about this milestone. According to her, the Skin Aqua Physical Sunscreen Tone Up isn’t just about SPF; it’s about superior protection, hydration, and a lightweight formula free from nasties like parabens, alcohol and oxybenzone. Even MBOR’s official, Siti Hajar binti Johor, praised Sunplay for going beyond numbers to make a meaningful impact.

Why I’m Loving This Sunscreen

This new baby from Sunplay is basically a multitasker. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Gentle, Non-Irritating Formula - Perfect for sensitive, acne-prone or pregnant skin. Won’t clog pores.
  • Instant Glow-Up Effect - The natural pink tint evens out skin tone and gives that healthy rosy radiance.
  • 100% Physical Sunscreen -  Powered by Zinc Oxide for SPF 50+ PA++++ protection.
  • InvisShield™ Technology -  Lightweight texture, no white cast or stickiness.
  • 5X Skincare Actives -  Ceramide, Betaine, Moringa Seed Oil, Glycerin & Rosa Damascena Flower Oil for deep hydration and barrier care.
  • 6X Free & Reef-Friendly - Free from chemical UV filters, synthetic fragrance, alcohol, parabens, mineral oil, and oxybenzone.

And yes! your makeup will glide on smoothly without caking or pilling. For me, that’s a total game-changer.

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...
