One of my long-time favourite sunscreen brands, Sunplay , has just made Malaysian history ...... and yours truly had to share the tea! Sunplay Enters the Malaysia Book of Records   Recently, Sunplay, under Rohto-Mentholatum, officially earned a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records for organizing the Most Participants in a Sunscreen Application Event . How cool is that?  The event took place at Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre with the support of Watsons Malaysia, Sunplay’s trusty retail partner. Picture this...  250 participants applying sunscreen together at the same time. Not only did it set a new benchmark in the skincare industry, it also sent a clear message....  daily sunscreen use matters. Why This Event Matters  This wasn’t just about numbers, okay? It was about turning awareness...

No Filter Needed, Just Fabulous Skin – Meet My New Sunscreen BFF Let’s face it—some days, I just want to slap on one product and head out looking like I actually got eight hours of sleep and drank two litres of water. Enter Sunplay Skin Aqua Tone-Up UV Essence Blue . One swipe and boom! Skin looks brighter, fresher, and basically like I have my life together. (Even when I don’t. Shhh...) This little blue tube comes armed with SPF50+ PA++++—basically a knight in shimmering armor for my skin. And can we talk about that Iridescent Strobe Pearl magic? It gives that subtle glow that says, “I woke up like this,” without screaming “I’m wearing sunscreen, can’t you tell?!” Glow Up While You Show Up What I love most? It’s more than just a sunscreen. It’s skincare in disguise. Think: hyaluronic acid to keep skin plump and juicy, vitamin C to fight dullness, and calming cica to hush any angry patches. And yes, this baby is gentle enough for sensitive skin—no mineral oil, no parabens, and no...

Do We Need Sunscreen To Stay Indoor?

During this Movement Control Order (MCO) period, many of us diligently play our part to stay indoor. Most of us are spending our time indoors than outdoor. I bet some of us has been neglecting sunscreen in our daily skincare routine. We are all aware to apply the SPF when outdoor to avoid sunburn. How about indoor? What are we protecting from? Well, the sun's UVA rays kind of penetrate through clouds and windows too. These rays are really bad for the skin. It causes discolouration, fine lines and skin cancer too. It can cause skin cancer if overly expose without any skin protection. UVA (ageing) rays - The most harmful since we have nowhere to hide from these rays. It penetrates through clouds when you are outdoor. It even comes in through the window if you are indoor. An enemy for our delicate skin since it ...

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...
