Why I Travel Differently Now: Slower, Simpler and More Meaningful

I used to think a good holiday meant seeing as many places as possible. Wake up early. Breakfast. Train. Attraction. Lunch. Another attraction. More walking. Dinner. Night market. Back to the hotel. Then repeat the next day. And yes, I used to enjoy it. There was something exciting about having a packed itinerary and coming home thinking, Wow, I really saw so much! But somewhere along the way, the way I travel started to change. These days, I don't want to rush through a destination just so I can say I've been there. I want to experience it. I Don't Need to See Everything Anymore This is probably one of the biggest changes in the way I travel. When I was younger, skipping an attraction felt like a waste. Now? If I don't feel like going, I simply don't go. If a place requires hours of queuing, too much walking or a complicated journey just for a photo, I might happily skip it. There are plenty of places in the world. I don't have to see everything in one trip. ...

Honest Review: Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV

When I first picked up the Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV , the sleek blue bottle already gave me that “hydrating luxury” vibe. Unlike the usual heavy sunscreens or sticky sunblocks, this one feels more like a skincare serum than a typical sunscreen. That’s the first big difference ! It’s marketed as a serum UV , not just a sunblock. Texture & Application The texture is lightweight, almost watery-gel like, and it spreads effortlessly across the skin. No greasy residue, no sticky film, and most importantly.....  no white cast . This is a huge win for those of us who hate looking like a ghost after applying sunscreen. It absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling supple and hydrated, almost like you’ve just applied a hydrating essence. This is where it stands out! It doesn’t just sit on top of your skin to block UV rays, it actually locks in hydration thanks to the 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA, Absorbent HA, Nano HA). Think of it as a sunscreen that doubles ...

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...
