Honest Review: Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV

Sunplay Sunscreen

When I first picked up the Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV, the sleek blue bottle already gave me that “hydrating luxury” vibe. Unlike the usual heavy sunscreens or sticky sunblocks, this one feels more like a skincare serum than a typical sunscreen. That’s the first big difference ! It’s marketed as a serum UV, not just a sunblock.

Skin Aqua

Texture & Application

The texture is lightweight, almost watery-gel like, and it spreads effortlessly across the skin. No greasy residue, no sticky film, and most importantly..... no white cast. This is a huge win for those of us who hate looking like a ghost after applying sunscreen. It absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling supple and hydrated, almost like you’ve just applied a hydrating essence.

This is where it stands out! It doesn’t just sit on top of your skin to block UV rays, it actually locks in hydration thanks to the 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA, Absorbent HA, Nano HA). Think of it as a sunscreen that doubles as your hydration booster.

Why It’s Different from Other Sunscreens

Most sunscreens focus only on UV protection. Some are heavy, oily, or clog pores. Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV is different because:

  • It combines broad-spectrum UV protection (SPF50+ PA++++) with deep hydration.

  • It uses UV Protection Capsule NEO, which stabilizes the UV filters for longer-lasting protection.

  • It’s gentle , free from alcohol, fragrance, colorants, and mineral oil.

  • It even claims to protect against pollutants like PM2.5, dust, and dirt.

So instead of choosing between hydration and sun protection, you get both in one bottle.

Who Should Use This

This sunscreen is perfect for:

  • Dry or dehydrated skin types who need hydration throughout the day.

  • Sensitive skin users who want a gentle formula without alcohol or fragrance.

  • Urban dwellers exposed to pollution and dust.

  • Anyone who hates heavy sunscreens but still wants maximum UV protection.

If you usually skip sunscreen because it feels sticky or suffocating, this is the one to choose. It feels more like skincare than sunblock, so you’ll actually enjoy applying it.

Final Thoughts

For me, the Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV is not just another sunscreen.... it’s a hybrid skincare product. It hydrates, protects, and feels comfortable enough to wear daily without excuses. If you’re looking for a sunscreen that doesn’t behave like the usual thick sunblock, this is worth switching to.

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...
