Have you heard about Liquorice before? I only know liquorice is use in traditional Chinese Medicine. Some even add it to tea or tobacco. I do not know that this herbs is good for skin. I just found liquorice has been used for almost 4,000 years ago for skin and health benefit after I found this skincare range call Botanics which I bought it from one of the pharmacies in Bangkok. For those who don't know how Liquorice look like can just 'google' the image. It kind of beautiful plant with some flowers. The plant is a legume type and very much like bean. Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...

Honest Review: Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV

When I first picked up the Sunplay Skin Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Serum UV , the sleek blue bottle already gave me that “hydrating luxury” vibe. Unlike the usual heavy sunscreens or sticky sunblocks, this one feels more like a skincare serum than a typical sunscreen. That’s the first big difference ! It’s marketed as a serum UV , not just a sunblock. Texture & Application The texture is lightweight, almost watery-gel like, and it spreads effortlessly across the skin. No greasy residue, no sticky film, and most importantly.....  no white cast . This is a huge win for those of us who hate looking like a ghost after applying sunscreen. It absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling supple and hydrated, almost like you’ve just applied a hydrating essence. This is where it stands out! It doesn’t just sit on top of your skin to block UV rays, it actually locks in hydration thanks to the 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA, Absorbent HA, Nano HA). Think of it as a sunscreen that doubles ...
