Blackview Android Tablet Tab 16 Review

Android Tablet

Updated this blog post using new tablet. I bought this for around RM900 plus. At first, I was considering to get OPPO, RealMe Pad or Honor. Then came across Blackview. This brand kind of one of those top list  in China. Not so familiar with this brand at all. In fact, my first encounter while browsing to shop for Tablet with good specs. Despite all the mixed online review, I dare myself to buy this tablet.

To be honest, I was looking for high specs tablet with at least 10 inches screen. My budget is less than RM950. At one glance Blackview Android Tablet Tab 16 has it all. Sold! 😂 Love the sleek and premium design.

Phew! that was the literally copy specs from the marketing brochure. Let me just review based on non technical user point of view.

I ordered from the flagship store. It reached me nicely after 7 days all the way from Hong Kong. I received 2 boxes attached together. One for the tablet and the other for the keyboard.

The tablet box contains :

* Tablet (I chose green but somehow it look more bluish)

* Screen protector

* Tablet casing (magnetic)

* 2 pin charger

* Stylus pen

* Sim slot eject pin. (not sure what is the exact term for it)

* Manual

Keyboard box :

* One keyboard

* One USB cable for charging

* Manual

That was it!

Blackview Tablet

My previous tablet was a 8 inches Mediapad from Huawei. Smaller and not as high specs as this one. Not sure if it worth comparing the experience. hahaha...I know...I know... its like comparing Grape and Durian , right?

When first read the specs, the one caught my eyes was the weight. It says around less than 600g. OK! I was expected , a lightweight tablet which my wrist could just hold up easily. NO!!!!! Heavy. I weight with the scale , it shows less than 800g with the given casing. I guess, it weight around 2kg before that! I need more weight training exercise to hold on to this tablet, though!

Blackview Tab 16 Limitation found

It has no input jack for the headphone! Aish...hate it. I am not a bluetooth air pod or headphone kind of person. I was thinking, how to survive my 5 to 6 hours flight with air pod or bluetooth headphone. I just need to get use to new tech now. No HDMI or VGA connector and even a slot to insert in USB port to insert in the USB drive. Haish! I guess need to get use to Cast Screen and cloud file transfer.

So far so good. Today I found out how to connect the given wireless keyboard , though! I was scratching my head since last Thursday, trying to figure how to connect it. My bad to be so ignorant. I didn't read the manual. muahahaha...

Overall, the screen and sounds is good to watch movies or drama. I did a lot of browsing and find the screen is pleasant. So does the speed. Everything so smooth. For this kind of price with premium specification, this is a good Tab for light and leisure user like me. So far, satisfied with my purchase. Oh!!! Almost forgot to mention, this tab has PC mode function too. Awesome!!!

Cosmoderm Luminous A Retinol Review

In general, most people are advised to start using retinol in their mid-20s. Why do we need retinol for our skin? Well, this is because collagen and elastin production starts to slow down. Adding retinol into our skincare routine at age of 25 to 30 is the perfect time to slow down the ageing process. So, what is retinol that people are hyping about? In short, retinol is a topical product containing a vitamin A derivative. Technically speaking a type of retinoid which works to increase collagen production. It helps to treat acne, and blackheads and is also ideal to improve skincare texture such as minimising fine lines, and wrinkles and brightening dull skin. Personally, I am a beginner in adding Retinol into my skincare routine. At the age of 47 years old. I guess, am afraid to start one because I read many side effects if use it wrong.  What is the side effect if you use retinol wrong?  Retinols can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. So, it is advisable to apply th...
